Estate Planning Attorney

A Tennessee-based law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for its Nashville office. This position will focus on estate planning, with opportunities to engage in related practice areas as needed. Candidates with direct experience in estate planning will be given priority, but those with experience in other areas are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, asset protection, and probate avoidance.
  • Assist with probate and trust administration matters.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters and firm initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission (or eligibility for admission) to the Tennessee Bar.
  • Prior estate planning experience strongly preferred.
  • Attorneys with related experience (e.g., probate, tax, elder law, or real estate) are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
