Estate Planning Paralegal (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We are seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal to support our attorneys in preparing estate planning documents, assisting with probate filings, and managing client communications. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at balancing multiple deadlines. The position is available full-time or part-time, either remotely or in person.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents.
Prepare and file probate pleadings, court forms, and related documentation.
Organize, review, and maintain client files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Conduct initial client intakes and maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates.
Coordinate document execution and manage deadlines related to estate planning and probate cases.
Assist with discovery, legal research, and preparation of exhibits as needed.
Communicate with courts, clients, and third parties regarding probate and estate planning matters.
Support attorneys in trial preparation and hearings when required.
Participate in firm meetings to review case progress and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or relevant degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in estate planning, probate, or related legal fields.
• Familiarity with Texas probate procedures and estate planning practices.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and document management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
