Estimation and Costing Engineer FOR MEP PROJECTS

Core Responsibilities:

• Quantity Take-Offs (QTO):
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to extract quantities of materials, equipment, and services required.
• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for all MEP services.
• Cost Estimation:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting works.
• Include material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
• Tendering and Bidding:
• Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids within deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams for technical inputs.
• Vendor and Material Rate Analysis:
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Perform rate analysis and cost comparison for selection.
• Budgeting and Cost Control:
• Assist in preparing project budgets based on estimates.
• Monitor costs during project execution and compare with estimates.
• Identify cost overruns and report variances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
