Estimation Engineer

S. Zia-Ul-Haq & Sons is looking for an Estimation Engineer!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments for projects.
• Evaluate technical drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
• Develop and maintain cost databases, benchmarks, and estimation tools.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation in coordination with the project management team.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual costs with estimated costs to identify variances.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project cost without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to validate cost assumptions.
• Prepare estimation reports and present them to management for approval.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry practices, and client requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial) from a well-reputed and recognized university.
• Proven experience in estimation, costing, and project management (5–6 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of project costing techniques, BOQ preparation, and estimation software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, or other relevant tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
