Estimation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and requirements, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring the accuracy of project budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project specifications and requirements to determine project scope and estimate the resources required to complete the project.

Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the project.

Determine project timelines and identify potential risks or issues that may impact project completion.

Collaborate with the project team to ensure accuracy of project budgets and timelines.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials.

Provide technical support to the project team and management as needed.

Review and analyze historical data to identify areas for improvement in the estimation process.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

2 -3 years of experience in engineering or construction industry.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of cost estimating software and tools.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with project management software is a plus.
