Estimation Engineer (Infrastructure)

The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis
  • Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tender submissions
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and planning teams
  • Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and historical data
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and UAE standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 4–8 years of experience in estimation (UAE preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, CostX, Primavera is a plus)
  • Experience in tendering for infrastructure or building projects
  • Good analytical and numerical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10.00 - AED20.00 per month
