Job Title: Estimation Engineer

About the Role

The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and commercial proposals for prefab buildings, modular cabins, containers, steel structures, site offices, accommodation units, warehouses, and related MEP & fit-out works. The role involves quantity take-off, supplier coordination, technical review of drawings/specifications, and preparation of competitive quotations while ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards.

The Estimation Engineer shall coordinate with Design, Procurement, Production, Projects, and Finance departments to ensure timely submission of technically and commercially compliant offers.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Estimation

Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract documents to identify project scope, technical requirements, risks, and discrepancies.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for:

Prefabricated buildings

Modular cabins

Portable cabins

Site offices

Accommodation units

Toilets & pantry units

Containers & container modifications

Steel structures

Interior fit-out works

Requirements

Education

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Additional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Estimation is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience as Estimation Engineer in:

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
