Estimation Engineer – Civil Construction (UAE Experience Required)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimation Engineer with a strong background in civil construction projects, including villas and shopping complexes. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and pre- and post-tendering processes within the UAE market, specifically Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
• Handle pre-tendering and post-tendering activities
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Calculate material quantities, labor, and equipment costs
• Coordinate and liaise with the Procurement Department for quotations and supplier evaluation
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Perform cost analysis, pricing, and value engineering
• Identify risks, variations, and cost-saving opportunities
• Support project budgeting and feasibility studies
• Utilize ERP systems for estimation, cost tracking, and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 8–10 years of experience in civil construction
• Mandatory UAE/GCC experience (preferably in Abu Dhabi)
• Strong experience in villas and shopping complex projects
• Expertise in costing, BOQ, and tendering processes
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
