Estimation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Manager to lead our estimation function for landscaping and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost planning, tendering, budgeting, and delivering competitive, accurate, and profitable project pricing. This role is critical in supporting business growth through successful tender submissions and strong commercial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the estimation team for landscaping and maintenance projects
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and complete tender submissions for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate and competitive pricing strategies
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to obtain reliable cost inputs
• Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure value for money and compliance with project requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and value engineering exercises to optimize project costs and profit margins
• Maintain and regularly update cost databases, supplier records, and historical project cost data
• Support contract negotiations and assist with post-tender clarifications, value engineering proposals, and client queries
• Ensure all estimates and submissions comply with company standards, client requirements, and tender deadlines
• Monitor market trends, material pricing, labor rates, and subcontractor costs to maintain competitive positioning

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in estimation, preferably within landscaping or construction projects in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, construction methodologies, and UAE market rates
• Proven experience in tendering for government and private sector projects
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and relevant estimation software
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail with the ability to perform under tight deadlines
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
