Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Estimation & Vendor Coordination Manager with mandatory experience in the interior design industry to join our modular and custom interior design team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing detailed cost estimations, onboarding and negotiating with vendors, creating accurate price lists for designers, and fostering strong vendor relationships. This role requires close collaboration with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure projects progress smoothly and are delivered on time with high-quality outcomes. Ownership and accountability for project timelines and vendor performance are key to success in this position.


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimations for modular and customized interior products based on design specifications and client requirements.

- Collaborate closely with the design team to understand product requirements and provide timely price lists and estimation updates for modular and custom interior elements.

- Source, onboard, and manage vendors ensuring compliance with quality, price, and delivery standards.

- Negotiate with vendors effectively to secure the best possible terms, prices, and delivery schedules.

- Maintain and regularly update a detailed price list of materials, components, and finished products for internal reference by designers and procurement.

- Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing vendors and identify potential new vendors to expand the supply base.

- Coordinate with the project management team to align vendor deliveries and production timelines with project schedules, ensuring smooth handovers.

Monitor vendor performance, resolve supply issues, and ensure quality standards are consistently met.

- Take full ownership of estimation accuracy, vendor collaboration, and timeline adherence to support successful project completion.

- Generate regular reports on cost estimates, vendor status, and project progress for management review.

- Stay updated on market price trends, vendor capabilities, and new modular/custom interior product innovations.


Key Requirements :

- Mandatory: Proven experience 8+ years preferred in the interior design industry, specifically in estimation, vendor management, or procurement within the modular furniture or custom interiors segment.

- Strong knowledge of materials, products, and processes related to modular and custom interior solutions.

- Excellent negotiation and vendor communication skills with a track record of successful vendor onboarding and relationship management.

- Ability to prepare detailed cost estimations and maintain accurate price lists.

- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with design, procurement, and project teams to meet deadlines.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to take ownership and drive projects forward independently.

- Proficiency in spreadsheet and estimation software tools; familiarity with project management systems is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams.

- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, quality, and cost efficiency as market standards.

- Background in interior design or architecture will be an added advantage.

- Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent projects.

- Problem-solving mindset and ability to anticipate and mitigate supply and scheduling risks.
