Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Having a strong understanding of construction methods and materials and an ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Analyzing blueprints and other project documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
• Identifying and quantifying cost factors, such as materials, and labor expenses.
• Estimating work based on the proposals, blueprints, specifications, and concerned documents.
• Adjusting estimates when there are changes in the scope of a project.
• Performing quantity take-offs.
• Working with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices.
• Preparing preliminary estimates for budgeting purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry (commercial or residential).
• Proficiency in estimating software such as PlanSwift, ProEst, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.

• UAE: 5 years (Preferred)
• High Rise Building: 4 years (Preferred)
