Estimator

We’re hiring an Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for bespoke metallic furniture projects (steel/aluminium cabinets, shelving, partitions, reception counters, architectural metalwork). Work closely with Sales, Design, Production and Procurement to turn enquiries into competitive, profitable offers and support post-award budgeting and purchasing.

Key Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy (Civil with relevant experience considered)

3–5 years’ experience in metal fabrication/metallic furniture/structural steel estimation

Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, surface finishes)

Proficient reading fabrication drawings and preparing itemised BOQs

Good Excel skills; experience with estimating/ERP tools or CAD is a plus

Excellent communication, numerical accuracy, and ability to work under pressure

Main Responsibilities

Review enquiries, drawings and specs; raise RFIs as needed

Float RFQs to vendors and prepare detailed cost estimates (materials, labour, subcontracting, finishes, installation)

Prepare client offers, priced BOQs, and post-order project budgets

Initiate purchase requests and maintain enquiry/offer trackers for management

Provide value-engineering suggestions and support cost-control activities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• UAE : 5 years (Preferred)
• relevant : 5 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English, Hindi ,Malayalam , Tamil (Preferred)
