In this energetic and detail-oriented position, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing bid documents, and collaborating closely with project managers, clients, superintendents and subcontractors. Your expertise will ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards, ultimately contributing to the seamless execution of construction initiatives. Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Utilize estimating software such as Quickbid and OST to prepare detailed bids efficiently.
• Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground insights that influence accurate pricing and scope assessments.
• Collaborate with vendors through effective negotiation to secure competitive prices and favorable terms.
• Analyze project costs, monitor budget adherence, and implement cost control measures throughout the bidding process.
• Assist in contract review and support project management teams with procurement strategies and scope clarifications.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining estimates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
• Proficiency in estimating tools such as Quickbid, OST, Quickbooks and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, pricing strategies, and cost control techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to optimize project costs.
• Experience working on construction sites or within construction management environments is preferred.
• Strong project management skills with an eye for detail, accuracy, and deadlines.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
