The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation. The role supports project planning, budgeting, and tendering processes to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand scope and requirements
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis
  • Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare tender documents and bid proposals
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
  • Maintain updated cost databases and historical records
  • Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required
  • Ensure estimates comply with company standards and client requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (typically 3–7+ years depending on level)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CostX, or Bluebeam Revu)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and negotiation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
