Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Sales Engineer – FRP/GRP & Steel Products with a strong background in industrial sales, project estimation, and technical proposals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in FRP/GRP products, steel fabrication, and construction materials, along with the ability to manage client requirements from inquiry to project award.

This role focuses on developing new business, managing key client accounts, and preparing accurate estimations and quotations based on drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate leads and develop new business in industrial and construction sectors
• Handle sales of FRP/GRP products, steel structures, and custom fabrication solutions
• Prepare project estimations, BOQs, and costing based on drawings and tender documents
• Submit technical and commercial proposals to clients
• Review specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams for design, production, and delivery
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions
• Follow up on quotations and close sales deals
• Maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil preferred)
• 2–5+ years experience in FRP/GRP, steel, or construction material sales
• Strong experience in:
• Project estimation & BOQ preparation
• Tendering & technical submissions
• Industrial product sales
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel (important for estimation)
• AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
