Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Furniture Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for custom and production furniture projects. The Furniture Estimator will review drawings, specifications, materials, labor requirements, and production methods to determine project costs and support the sales and production teams in preparing competitive quotations.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for furniture, joinery, cabinetry, and interior fit-out items.
• Calculate material, labor, hardware, finishing, and subcontracting costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing for raw materials and accessories.
• Prepare and submit quotations, tender documents, and bid proposals within deadlines.
• Analyze project scope and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with design, procurement, production, and project management teams.
• Update pricing databases and maintain accurate estimating records.
• Assist in value engineering and budgeting during project planning.
• Monitor market pricing trends for materials and manufacturing processes.
• Clarify technical details with clients, consultants, and internal departments when required.
