Estimator/Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Estimator & Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. This role is crucial to ensuring accurate cost estimation and assisting in the management of projects, from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret civil and architectural drawings to create accurate estimates for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Perform quantity take-offs, prepare bids, and work with subcontractors and vendors to gather pricing and ensure cost accuracy.
• Utilize software such as Excel, Word, Adobe, and other estimation tools (CAD and Agtek proficiency is a plus).
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners, providing updates and ensuring alignment on project requirements.
• Assist with site inspections, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Represent the company professionally on-site and during client meetings.

Qualifications

• Required Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction with a solid understanding of the industry.
• Proven ability to read and interpret civil and architectural drawings.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
• A strong desire to learn, grow, and adapt to evolving industry standards.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
