Event Key Account Manager

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for an experienced agency Event Key Account Manager to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive to provide exceptional customer service, and can do project management, Applicants should have experience and knowledge in the events and advertising, media and PR fields.

The role is fast-paced and challenging, with room for growth and progression. You will be required to work closely with the creative directors and traffic managers assisting with the day-to- day management of client requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned client experiential and event marketing programs
  • Generate sales among client accounts including upsetting and cross-selling
  • You will able to develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives, plus all relevant vendors and develops and maintains long relationships with clients.
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals, from brief to delivery.
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services on time.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • You can communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly client and internal initiatives and forecast and track key account metrics, providing suggestions for areas of improvement.
  • You will prepare follow-up event recaps after each client event. Identify and grow opportunities with client – both for current projects and potential new campaigns.
  • Coordinate event logistics with a high-level of attention to detail to provide to the client and also to the field marketing team.
  • Maintain and manage with care client budgets and actively participate in team meetings – including regular staff meetings, briefing, plus brainstorming, project development and review sessions.
  • You will do upsell and cross sale.

To succeed in this position, candidates should have the following:

  • Bachelors Graduate
  • 3-year experience in Advertising or event agency
  • Knowledge, experience and a background within the digital marketplace is an advantage
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A strong understanding of the full digital spectrum, including Software development, Apps. PPC, SEO, CMS, Social Media and Google AdWords is an advantage
  • Personable and approachable communicator
  • Tech savvy – if you aren’t familiar with a certain piece of software, it doesn’t take you long to figure it out
