Events Administrative Assistant

Duties

  • Support the Event Planning team with details and special requests
  • Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing clear information and support to callers while directing inquiries efficiently
  • Maintain detailed records of event details, contracts, and invoices through accurate data entry and filing systems
  • Support operations by greeting guests, managing visitor sign-in procedures, and providing excellent customer service with proper phone etiquette
  • Attend meetings to discuss the details of upcoming events at the hotel
  • Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, filing documents, managing office supplies, and supporting overall office management activities

Experience

  • Prior experience in office administration or event coordination is highly preferred; familiarity with office management tasks is essential
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience handling inquiries via phone or in person
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures such as filing systems, proofreading documents, calendar management, and time management techniques

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
