Events & Partnerships Associate

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and highly organized Events & Partnerships Associate to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events and partnership initiatives for COLABS KSA. This role will be instrumental in establishing our presence in the local startup and creative ecosystem and will work closely with the team in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute community events, panels, networking sessions, and ecosystem meetups
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, and collaborators for seamless event logistics
• Handle event marketing support - invites, RSVPs, social content coordination with the design & marketing team

Ecosystem & Partnership Engagement

• Build relationships with local startups, accelerators, incubators, universities, and ecosystem players
• Support outreach efforts for collaborations and partnerships
• Represent COLABS at local startup events, exhibitions, and ecosystem forums

Cross-Team Coordination

• Work closely with the Growth & Partnerships team in Pakistan to align on event calendar, programming themes, and partnership goals
• Maintain consistent communication and reporting between KSA and Pakistan teams
• Assist in executing programs or initiatives that may be co-led between markets (e.g., cohort launches, founder talks, networking)

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, partnerships, community engagement, or marketing
• Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and the creative economy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken & written)
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments
• Self-starter with a hands-on approach and the ability to multitask
