Events Sales Manager

Position Summary

The Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving group dining and event revenue across Capital Motion’s restaurant portfolio. This role focuses on acquiring and managing corporate, MICE, and private event bookings, building strong client relationships, and positioning the restaurants as premier venues in the Abu Dhabi market. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with deep market knowledge and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow event and group dining revenue across all restaurant brands.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Abu Dhabi market, including corporate clients, embassies, government entities, and event organizers.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends, competitor offerings, and client expectations.
  • Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies to meet revenue goals.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, DMCs, travel agencies, and event planners.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and presentations to promote restaurant concepts and event capabilities.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Provide personalized service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Event Sales & Coordination

  • Promote restaurants as preferred venues for corporate events, private functions, banquets, and celebrations.
  • Develop customized proposals, menus, and packages tailored to client needs and budgets.
  • Coordinate with restaurant operations, culinary, and service teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Attend client briefings, tastings, and walkthroughs to finalize event details.

Brand Representation & Networking

  • Represent Capital Motion at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to build brand visibility.
  • Establish partnerships with local businesses, hotels, and tourism boards to drive referrals and cross-promotions.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing the unique value of each restaurant concept.

Marketing & Promotions Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns targeting corporate and event business.
  • Contribute to the creation of promotional materials, seasonal offers, and digital content.
  • Support social media and PR initiatives that highlight successful events and client testimonials.

Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and booking details using CRM tools.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
  • Track conversion rates, booking trends, and client feedback to refine sales approaches.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant sales, with a focus on events and group bookings.
  • Strong understanding of the Abu Dhabi market and its corporate landscape.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
