Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of high-level VIP events. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing VIP events, including protocol, logistics, and coordination of VIP visit arrangements. This role requires a strong understanding of the cultural and formal requirements associated with government and corporate VIP events, ensuring impeccable execution and experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination:
Manage the entire lifecycle of VIP events, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis. Ensure all logistics are in place, including transportation, security, venue arrangements, and more.

VIP Visit Arrangements:
Oversee and coordinate the specific requirements for VIP visits, including accommodations, transportation, and special arrangements to ensure comfort and security.

Protocol Management:
Apply knowledge of international and local protocols and etiquette in the preparation and execution of events, ensuring all events align with government and corporate standards.

Vendor Management:
Liaise with external suppliers, caterers, venues, and other vendors to ensure the highest quality services are provided for the event. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.

Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration throughout the planning and execution of the events.

Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of event coordinators and other staff members, providing direction and support to ensure events run smoothly.

Crisis Management:
Address any issues or emergencies that may arise before, during, or after the event, ensuring a quick resolution to minimize disruption.

Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all government regulations and internal policies. Prepare post-event reports and assessments to evaluate success and identify improvements for future events.
Required Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Hospitality, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in event management, specifically with high-level VIP events, protocol, and logistics management.

Protocol Expertise:
Proven experience in handling VIP visits and adhering to the highest levels of protocol and diplomatic etiquette.

Communication Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both English and Arabic (preferred).

Organizational Skills:
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple high-profile events simultaneously.

Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail, ensuring every aspect of the event meets the highest standards.

Cultural Sensitivity:
Deep understanding of local customs, cultural nuances, and practices associated with VIP events in a government setting.
Desirable Skills:
