About the Role:

The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring that all Farm Fresh products meet GMG’s quality and safety standards through consistent monitoring and adherence to established protocols. A Quality Inspector is responsible for examining products and materials during various stages of production to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting visual, mechanical, and functional tests, documenting any defects or discrepancies, and working closely with production teams to resolve issues. With a focus on maintaining product integrity, the incumbent will work closely with the Quality Supervisor to implement quality control processes, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards by identifying and preventing defects before products reach the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular quality checks on incoming raw materials and final products, identify any inconsistencies or non-conformities.

  • Implement quality control testing methods and using SAP ERP to maintain accurate records of quality data and batch reports.

  • Conduct audits, tests, and inspections, ensuring all products meet GMG's quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Initiate corrective actions, in case of non-compliance and coordinate with the production team to adjust processes and prevent recurrence.

  • Support the Quality Supervisor by preparing daily and monthly quality reports, conduct root cause analyses, and assist in the development of continuous improvement strategies.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure they meet GMG’s quality standards, regularly updating them on requirements and best practices.

  • Ensure proper use of safety equipment in quality control procedures and actively participating in training initiatives.


Required skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in food science or Diploma in Quality Management

  • 2 years in quality control

  • Experience in food safety

  • Familiarity with SAP ERP

  • Audit experience

  • Certification in Quality Control, HACCP training, ISO compliance certification
