We are currently seeking a Environmental Service Director.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise Housekeeping and Laundry workers – checking and ensuring quality and accuracy to predetermined policies.

• Supervise work schedules and assignments to ensure sufficient staff to deliver quality services. Assist with departmental work as needed to ensure consistent operation of the department 7 days a week.

• Enforce departmental policies and procedures; make disciplinary recommendations.

• Train employees in the use of cleaning supplies and equipment and submit reports and/or suggestions regarding their effectiveness and economy.

• Supervise the distribution of supplies, linen, personal laundry and equipment, monitor usage, and maintain levels needed for daily operations.

• Visit residents and staff to gather feedback on service quality. Collect quality improvement data and otherwise participate in quality improvement activities.

• Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance with OSHA standards.

• Deal courteously and tactfully with others. Assist and cooperate with employees, supervisors, other departments and the public.

• Deal courteously with residents, maintaining dignity and respect during each and every interaction.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Experience in Environmental Services.

• Supervisory experience.
