Job Title: Excavator Operator

Location: Abu Dhabi
Reports To: Site Engineer / Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently to perform excavation, grading, trenching, and other related tasks as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to complete excavation and earthmoving activities.
• Inspect and maintain equipment before and after operation to ensure safety and performance.
• Perform trenching, grading, loading, and material handling as directed.
• Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and grade specifications.
• Ensure proper coordination with site supervisors and other machinery operators.
• Follow all site safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Report any equipment malfunction, damage, or maintenance needs immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment and work area.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating excavators in construction or earthworks.
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License / UAE Operator License.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with different excavation types (foundation, trenching, roadwork).
• Basic understanding of mechanical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with GPS or laser-guided systems is an advantage.
