Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of site operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers on fit-out projects.
- Ensure day-to-day site operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure clear communication and smooth execution.
- Monitor project timelines, quality, and costs; report progress and issues to management regularly.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify and resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Support in procurement and inventory management of materials and tools required for site.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Mentor junior staff and promote teamwork and professional development within the crew.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Proven experience in a team leader.
- Strong understanding of fit-out processes including carpentry, drywall, MEP coordination, finishes, and joinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with workplace safety and compliance standards.
- Basic knowledge of project management tools and reporting.
