Executive Administrative Assistant

Astronics-PECO, located in picturesque Clackamas, Oregon near the foothills of Mt. Hood, designs, certifies, manufactures, and sells a wide range of products to commercial, government, and military markets throughout the world. Our highly engineered interior and structural aerospace products are supplied to the largest aircraft manufacturers and are installed in aircraft around the globe, and our military products are used in critical national defense applications. The Max-Viz enhanced visions systems (EVS) are designed and certified for use as an improvement to safety by a vast array of airplanes, helicopters, and unmanned-aerial-vehicles in the commercial, government, and military marketplace. PECO-Controls are well established temperature control devices designed for applications where high quality is a must, such as the hospitality industry, commercial cooking, and other critical applications.

We are looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant for a hybrid role supporting the President, along with various duties within the Human Resources team. To be successful in this role you will have experience as an administrative assistant, high attention to detail and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner in writing, person, and on the phone.

Primary Duties:

• Provide high-level administrative support to the President and senior leaders.
• Handle incoming and outgoing communication on behalf of the President.
• Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of meetings, conferences, and events.
• Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Assist with performance management process, including employee evaluations.
• Review/edit policies.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding process.

Desired Training, Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as an Executive/Sr Admin, Admin Assistant, or similar role.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Detail orientated with high level of accuracy.
• Problem solving skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
