Executive Administrator

Hinds LifeCare, one of the most well-known and well-respected nonprofit agencies in California’s Central Valley and a pioneer in the practice of hospice and palliative care, is seeking an Executive Administrator to join our team.

The role of the Executive Administrator is to provide high-level, strategic administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, acting as a trusted partner to enhance productivity. Support includes board activities, publications, volunteerism, and special events planning, keeping official corporation records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials.

  • Compensation $70K to $80K annually

Qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Associates degree or high school diploma/GED with extensive equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years experience of high-level administrative experience required or experience in a comparable position.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Google applications.
  • Maintain work behavior that invites trust and reliance; role model positive attendance and punctuality standards; ensure work responsibilities are completed correctly and timely and are covered when absent; arrive at meetings and appointments prepared and on time.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data and inspire others.
  • Must possess good time management skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with difficult and complex situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to function independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Possess the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with both administrative and clinical staff.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment.
  • Must show proof of automobile insurance, proof of current auto registration and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e., Push, Pull, Lift/Carry 10 lbs.)
