Executive Assistant (Part-Time)
Meals That Connect – San Luis Obispo, CA

Meals That Connect, a nonprofit serving older adults throughout San Luis Obispo County, is seeking a highly organized and dependable Executive Assistant to provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director.

This role focuses on managing daily priorities, coordinating communication, and keeping key administrative tasks organized so leadership can stay focused on serving the community.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (approximately 20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, calls, and appointments
  • Assist with email coordination and follow-up on action items
  • Prepare documents, reports, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate meetings, board-related logistics, and internal communications
  • Maintain organized digital files and records
  • Assist with tracking projects, deadlines, and tasks
  • Support occasional event coordination and outreach activities
  • Provide general administrative support to help ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or executive assistant experience required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
