Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring an Executive Assistant for a full time, Day shift position to support the hospital President and Vice President of Operations. This is an onsite position in Charlottesville, VA.
Hours: Monday to Friday 730a to 4p but some flexibility for start and end time is available within business hours. 40 hours per week.
The Executive Assistant will perform a variety of administrative tasks aimed to optimize the time and performance of the hospital executive team. Tasks may involve acting as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls, managing calendars, organizing meetings and appointments, preparing documents or reports, participating in projects. May involve dealing with confidential information.
This position will support the hospital President and Vice President of Operations and assist in coordination and support of the Hospital Board. Duties will include meeting set up, calendar coordination, leadership meetings, and executive workgroup meetings.

High School Diploma required
Associates or Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
Certification/Licensure
None required
Experience
3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant required
1 year of experience in coordination and reporting required
Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and outlook calendar management Required
Experience in correspondence drafting and highly developed communication skills preferred
Healthcare and Hospital specific experience preferred
