Confidential Job Description – Executive Assistant (Industrials Team)

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: 4 days onsite

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 base + discretionary bonus (20–25%)

Experience Level: 7+ years


Overview

A highly respected, Private Equity firm is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support senior members of its Industrials investment team. This firm is known for its operationally focused approach, strong performance track record, and collaborative yet high-performance culture.


This role requires a polished, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable supporting multiple senior stakeholders with varying working styles, many of whom operate remotely.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to:
  • 2 senior Partners (one with light touch), Principals, Advisors
  • Manage complex, ever-changing calendars and travel logistics across multiple time zones
  • Coordinate and execute several board-level meetings/events annually, including handling frequent changes and updates
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across a distributed team, maintaining alignment despite remote working structures
  • Track priorities, maintain visibility into team activity, and proactively anticipate needs
  • Partner closely with other administrative professionals to ensure seamless team support


Team & Environment

  • Part of a broader administrative team
  • The Principal is regularly onsite; most other stakeholders operate remotely
  • The environment is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and requires strong collaboration and communication across teams


Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of Executive Assistant experience, preferably within finance, private equity, or similarly demanding environments
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple senior executives simultaneously
  • Highly adaptable with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of taking full ownership of responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate different personalities and working styles
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Willingness to maintain awareness of team needs outside of standard business hours when necessary
