Executive Assistant to the CEO – Mission-Driven Nonprofit (Anchorage, AK)
Alaska Jewish Campus is seeking a highly capable, organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to serve as a right hand to our CEO. This is not a traditional administrative role this position sits at the center of a growing, mission-driven organization and requires someone who can anticipate needs, manage complexity, and help drive execution.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly detail-oriented, and able to move seamlessly between high-level coordination and hands-on support. You are someone who notices what needs to be done before being asked and takes pride in getting things right.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a complex calendar, scheduling, and email correspondence with a high level of accuracy and responsiveness
- Draft, edit, and refine written communications including emails, letters, and speeches
- Prepare materials and support meetings with community leaders, donors, and public officials
- Conduct research and assist in developing presentations and internal/external materials
- Assist with marketing and communications (flyers, outreach materials; Canva experience preferred)
- Coordinate logistics, follow-ups, and moving pieces across meetings, events, and initiatives
- Handle occasional errands and provide day-to-day support as needs arise

This Role Requires
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management ability with attention to detail
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting needs without losing track of details
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, email systems, Canva or similar tools)
- Fast and accurate typing skills

Position Details
- Full-time or part-time (approximately 25–40 hours per week, depending on candidate)
- In-person position based in Anchorage
- Compensation: $25–$28 per hour (depending on experience)
