Job Title: Executive Chef

Location: Dreamworld Resort, Hotel & Golf Course – Karachi, Pakistan

Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations across our multi-outlet F&B portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine culinary artistry with sharp business acumen—particularly in cost control, budget management, and operational efficiency—while crafting memorable, family-friendly dining experiences that reflect Dreamworld’s premium standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations across restaurants, banquets, outlets, room service, and special events.
  • Develop innovative, seasonally inspired menus that balance guest appeal, cultural relevance (including Pakistani and international cuisines).
  • Implement and enforce rigorous food cost control systems, including recipe costing, portion control, yield testing, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Manage inventory to ensure quality, consistency, and optimal pricing—minimizing spoilage and over-ordering.
  • Monitor monthly P&L reports related to culinary operations; achieve or exceed targeted food cost percentages and team's efficiency benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, ISO, HACCP and HALAL standards across all areas.
  • Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a culture of Ownership, accountability, creativity, and discipline.
  • Collaborate with F&B Management on promotions, events, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Stay current with culinary trends and sustainability practices to enhance guest satisfaction while supporting financial performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10–15 years of progressive culinary experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or large-volume hospitality settings.
  • Minimum 5 years in an Executive Chef or equivalent leadership role with proven success in cost control and P&L management.
  • Formal culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain food costs in a multi-outlet environment.
  • Strong expertise in menu engineering, inventory management and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for quality, consistency, and creating joyful dining moments for families and guests of all ages.
