Executive Cost Control

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Monitor and track all project-related invoices and payments, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Prepare detailed annual and quarterly departmental budgets with head-wise allocations to ensure financial clarity and control.
  • Generate detailed consumption reports and flag overspending or under-utilization.
  • Analyze project performance using key metrics such as budget variance, cost-to-completion, and resource efficiency.
  • Create clear, professional, and data-driven presentations to effectively communicate project performance and cost control insights to senior management.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify financial risks or inefficiencies in project execution and escalate to relevant stakeholders.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of budgeting and project financials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP is highly preferred).
  • Ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering (MBA/ACCA/CMA preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in cost control, project finance, or financial planning & analysis.
