Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Executive – Import Documentation .

Job Purpose:

To ensure the timely and accurate management of import shipment manifests in compliance with Customs regulations and prescribed deadlines. This includes the efficient submission, processing, and monitoring of import manifests and related documentation to avoid delays, minimize additional costs, and maintain full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review, and submit Import General Manifests (IGM) to Customs within prescribed timelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable customs regulations.
2. Handle import related matters and related documentation, coordinating effectively with customers, terminals, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless Import operation.
3. Respond to customers and port of loading inquiries, investigate and resolve Import related issues, and provide timely communication and updates to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.

Additional Responsibilities:

• To process and issue Customs amendments to customers on port of loading and Consignee request after completion of all necessary requirement.
• Attend and, when required, supervise customs hearings related to amendment cases.
• Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Commercial and Counter teams to ensure efficient resolution of customer queries and timely follow-up on all issues.

KSA & Qualification:

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in similar role in the shipping industry.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of import procedures and cargo clearance processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, including Import General Manifest (IGM) filing, customs requirements, processing through PCS/PSW platforms, and working knowledge of the WeBOC system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and compliance-related activities.
• Multitasking and able to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
