Role Summary

The Import Export Executive provides hands-on operational support to the Export Development Manager and keeps our international trade running smoothly. The role is built around three things: supporting the Export Manager, owning import and export documentation, and coordinating with banks and freight forwarders. This is a detail-oriented role for someone who is organised, dependable, and comfortable with the paperwork and follow-ups that keep shipments moving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate the Export Manager

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Export Development Manager.
  • Track orders, shipments, and pending actions, and follow up to keep things on schedule.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and manage correspondence with overseas buyers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Take ownership of follow-up tasks so the Export Manager can stay focused on growth.

2. Import & Export Documentation

  • Prepare and process complete export documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading / airway bills, and Form-E.
  • Handle import documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage filings through WeBOC / Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and prepare Goods Declarations (GD).
  • Maintain organised, audit-ready records of all import and export documents.

3. Bank & Forwarder Coordination

  • Liaise with banks on Letters of Credit (LCs), Form-E, document submission, and remittances.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing/customs agents on bookings, shipments, and clearances.
  • Track shipment status end to end and resolve documentation or logistics issues promptly.
  • Reconcile charges and ensure timely, accurate processing across all parties.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in import/export documentation or a trade-support role.
  • Working knowledge of export/import procedures, Incoterms, and trade documentation.
  • Familiarity with WeBOC / PSW and bank trade documents (LCs, Form-E).
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow-up discipline.
  • Good written and verbal communication; proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred

  • Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents.
  • Exposure to e-commerce export fulfilment (e.g., Amazon) is a plus.

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
