Job Overview

Executive OSP Planning is responsible to review and finalize the design prepared by contractors against large FTTH requirement as well as small pockets designs to meet urgent commercial requirement. Ensure network is planned by using best available products and practices. Database management and updating related to all OSP projects

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Review and finalize ODN design prepared by design contractors.

2. BoQ verifications and Budget loading recommendation in the light of finalized design

3. Technical knowledge of GPON and industry standards for OSP implementation.

4. Prepare project tracker and keep records of all projects

5. Co-ordination with the survey and design team for the selection of right kind of ODN components.

6. Verification of BoMs in the light of locked ODN design

7. Detail knowledge and hands on experience of design software including ArcGIS, Autocad, google earth

8. Coordinate & extend technical support to network deployment teams, regional planning, and operational units to acquire necessary interfaces in timely manner.

Competencies

1. Detail knowledge and hands on experience of FTTH network design and deployment

2. Understanding challenges to the telecom industry, specific to FTTH domain

3. Knowledge of the new advancements and technological changes in the telecom sector

4. Detail knowledge of different FTTH deployment models to meet green field and brownfield requirements.

Operating Network

External Network: Contractors

Internal Network: NOD teams, Procurement, PMO, Commercial planning, M&L

Communication Responsibilities

External Communication: Design templates

Internal Communication: Store item tracker, Project templates, Capex reports

Experience and Qualifications

1. 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field

2. Bachelor’s degree in telecom/CS/Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90,000.00 per month
