Executive Pastry Chef (Cake Pastry Bread Cloud Kitchen)

The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for leading and managing the pastry and bakery production team in a cloud kitchen environment. The role focuses on developing high-quality cakes, pastries, and bakery products while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards. The Executive Pastry Chef will oversee production processes, supervise kitchen staff, and drive innovation through new recipes and seasonal offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the pastry and bakery production team.
  • Develop and standardize recipes for cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts.
  • Ensure consistent product quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Plan and manage daily production schedules based on order demand.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate pastry chefs and junior kitchen staff.
  • Introduce new menu items, seasonal desserts, and specialty products.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor ingredient usage and minimize food waste.
  • Collaborate with management to improve production efficiency and product offerings.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in pastry and bakery production.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a pastry kitchen or bakery.
  • Strong creativity and expertise in cake and dessert design.
  • Excellent team management and training skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations (HACCP preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
