Executive Supply Chain

Position Overview

The Executive – Supply Chain is responsible for managing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, production coordination, and distribution. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimization, and seamless product flow while supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and leadership capabilities, with the ability to collaborate across departments, drive process improvements, and maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Process Improvement:

• Support the development and execution of supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Monitor supply chain performance and recommend initiatives to enhance productivity and service levels.

Procurement & Supplier Management:

• Manage procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to maximize value and ensure supply continuity.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans where necessary.

Logistics, Inventory & Distribution:

• Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control practices to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize freight costs and delivery performance.

Production Planning & Coordination:

• Collaborate with production and operations teams to support effective production scheduling and resource planning.
• Ensure material availability aligns with production requirements and business demand.
• Monitor operational performance and assist in resolving supply chain bottlenecks.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across supply chain functions.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to supply chain team members.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Promote employee development through coaching, training, and performance management.

Budget & Performance Management:

• Assist in the development and management of supply chain budgets.
• Monitor supply chain costs and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency gains.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead times, inventory turnover, supplier performance, and cost reductions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• MBA or professional supply chain certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, APICS) will be considered an advantage.
• Maximum 3 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or operations.
• Proven experience in managing supply chain processes and driving operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, production planning, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain software, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM
