Job Title: Experienced Accountant – Travel & Tourism

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the Travel & Tourism industry to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

· Reconcile revenue from travel bookings, ticketing, packages, and tours.

· Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost efficiency.

· Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance with UAE regulations.

· Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external partners.

· Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting systems.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in Travel & Tourism).

· Strong knowledge of accounting standards and UAE VAT regulations.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

· Experience in Travel Agency or Tourism company accounts.

· Knowledge of IATA, and ticketing reconciliations.
