Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterile.
- Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture accurate images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain patient comfort by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and practicing aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards.
- Manage medical documentation accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Support administrative tasks including dental receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing medical coding for billing purposes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental tools and workspaces following strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during patient care. Pay is based off experience.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with X-ray technology, medical imaging, and 3D scanners used in dental diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
- Experience supporting pediatric dentistry cases is a plus, along with familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation procedures.
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with chairside procedures across various specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
