Experienced Landscape Crew Member

Job Summary
We are seeking an career-minded landscape maintenance professionals who can reliably commute to West Roxbury and work daily in Newton/Brookline. If you know how to work hard, show up consistently, and take pride in your craft, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetics.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing landscape features.
• Use heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation, grading, or hardscape installation under supervision.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing sprinkler lines and controllers.
• Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff.
• Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision and care.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools.
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices.
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant selection and tree care techniques.
• Ability to perform construction tasks related to hardscape installation confidently.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems maintenance and snow plowing procedures.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.
