Wisdom & Youth MedSpa is an award-winning luxury medical aesthetics practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, advanced clinical treatments, and a five-star experience. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Medical Esthetician to join our expanding team.

This position is part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

As a Medical Esthetician at Wisdom & Youth MedSpa, you will:

• Perform advanced clinical facial treatments with confidence and consistency.
• Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and develop customized treatment plans based on each patient's goals, lifestyle, and skin health.
• Educate patients on treatment options, skincare ingredients, contraindications, and appropriate home-care regimens.
• Perform treatments including:
• HydraFacial®/AquaFacial treatments
• Chemical peels
• Microneedling
• Acne management treatments
• Brightening and corrective facial treatments
• Anti-aging and hydration treatments
• Recommend and educate patients on professional skincare products, including SkinBetter Science.
• Collaborate closely with medical providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation, clinical photography, and treatment notes.
• Assist with practice growth through patient retention, education, and social media or marketing initiatives.
• Deliver the exceptional hospitality and luxury experience that defines the Wisdom & Youth brand.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet all of the following minimum qualifications to be considered for this position:

• Active Connecticut Esthetician License.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience as a practicing esthetician within a medical spa or physician-directed aesthetic practice.
• Experience limited to independent, home-based, or solo esthetics businesses does not satisfy this requirement.
• Demonstrated experience performing HydraFacial® (or comparable AquaFacial systems) independently.
• Demonstrated experience performing microneedling treatments.
• Confidence conducting comprehensive skin health consultations and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients, contraindications, product selection, and treatment planning.
• Working knowledge of medical-grade skincare. Experience with SkinBetter Science is strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
• Professional, dependable, positive, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury medical environment.
• Availability to work some evenings and/or weekends.
