Key Responsibilities1. Shipment Handling and Processing
- Receive, sort, and document incoming shipments.
- Verify shipment details and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
2. Coordination and Communication
- Liaise with drivers, delivery personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Communicate shipment statuses to relevant parties, including updates on delays or issues.
- Coordinate with customs and regulatory authorities for international shipments.
3. Inventory Management
- Track and manage inventory of packaging materials and supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of packages to avoid damage or loss.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory.
4. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all shipments comply with international and local shipping regulations.
- Accurately complete and file required shipping and customs documentation.
- Adhere to company policies, including safety and security protocols.
5. Customer Service Support
- Address customer inquiries regarding shipments, including tracking and delivery concerns.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide assistance to the customer service team as needed.
6. Operational Efficiency
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation of new technologies or systems for better workflow management.
