Experienced Tax Associate

We are a growing tax accounting firm in Greenwood Village seeking a staff accountant with 2+ years of experience. We provide tax, accounting, payroll and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses. We serve clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, real estate, retail and many others. Our firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented staff accountant. Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare income tax returns for all types of businesses as well as personal tax returns
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to follow established procedures
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide excellent customer service
• Help prepare and maintain client procedures
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or EA preferred
• 4+ or more years of experience in Accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Proficient with QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Lacerte preferred
• Ability to work with a set of clients to get them set-up for bookkeeping and tax services
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and reliability
• Ability to successfully complete assigned tasks accurately, timely and consistently
• Flexibility to work longer hours during peak periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
