EXPERIENCED Veterinary Receptionist/ Customer Service Representative, PART TIME

Growing, fast-paced small animal practice in booming community of Huntsville, AL seeking a part-time veterinary customer service representative to join our 5 doctor, small animal practice and new (separate) boarding and doggy daycare facility on-site and we're looking for a new team member to add to our fantastic CSR crew.

Receptionist/ Admin experience is REQUIRED.

Veterinary experience HIGHLY PREFERRED.

Applicants must possess exceptional communication skills, be highly motivated, skilled multitasker, accustomed to working in busy environment, compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to our mission of providing excellent patient care and customer service.

Required hours are

  • 2 - 3 days a week
  • M- F 6:45a ~ 5:30pm
  • No holiday or weekend shifts at this time (we may add rotating weekend duties in the future)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Avimark practice management software
  • Microsoft Word
  • typical business duties including basic computer knowledge, scanning, copying, credit card & money transactions, deposit and daily tally
  • multi-line phone management
  • multiple aspects of digital and online data entry (records, document storage and retrieval, appointment & customer requests, email, social media, online customer communication platforms, etc)
  • able to properly relay and/or explain basic veterinary medical information between staff and customers
  • provide compassion and excellent customer service in variety of stress situations

We offer a nationally competitive salary and benefits, both of which vary based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
