Your role encompasses identifying strategic partnerships to expand and refine payment acceptance offerings while innovating in-house solutions that elevate JazzCash's overall capabilities in QR and card acceptance solutions.

What does Expert Product - QR and Card Acceptance do?

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop innovative QR and card acceptance solutions through market insights and international benchmarks.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to build a spectrum of payment use cases across USSD, App, and online platforms.
• Conceptualize forward-thinking QR and card acceptance solutions aligned with organizational long-term strategies.
• Create detailed product requirements for technological implementation and devise GTM strategies for marketing teams.
• Conduct meticulous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all solutions before launch.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely execution of deliverables.
• Engage with local and international payment schemes and service providers to enable seamless retail payments both online and offline.
• Analyze merchant behaviour, collaborating with teams to enhance the merchant acquiring experience, positioning JazzCash as the preferred acquirer.
• Manage insights and reporting for all developed QR and card acceptance solutions.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Product - QR and Card Acceptance?

• Master's/bachelor’s degree in management/business or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience in product management or product development roles within the financial technology (fintech) industry, specifically working with payment schemes like Mastercard, Visa, Roam (P2M), and similar systems.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, or managing QR and card acceptance solutions, including QR code-based payments, Point of Sale (POS) systems, Payment Gateways (PG), Open-loop/closed-loop systems, and Acquiring setups, with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Jira, Mixpanel, Tableau, and Trello for project management, data analysis, and visualization in the context of payment solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills (both written and verbal) for collaborating with scheme providers, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.
• A demonstrated results-driven approach, ability to work independently and within teams, and a history of driving successful projects in the payments domain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
