An Export Documentation job involves preparing, verifying, and managing all paperwork for international shipments (invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, Certs of Origin) to ensure compliance with global trade rules, coordinating with forwarders/brokers, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate records for smooth, timely exports, requiring high attention to detail and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation: Create and check commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin (COO), and insurance docs.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to international customs regulations and trade laws (e.g., E-Sanchit filing in India).
  • Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, banks, and internal sales/logistics teams.
  • Shipment Management: Track shipments, manage documentation flow, and resolve delays or issues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized, accurate records for audits and compliance.
