Export Documentation Specialist

The Role
Guildhall is hiring for Export Documentation Specialist for an international trading and logistics company that deals with perishable goods. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and verifying export documentation for international shipments, with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy. Key responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and verify all export documents required for international shipments, including but not limited to: Phytosanitary Certificates, Bills of Lading (Master B/L and House B/L), Certificates of Origin and other documentation related to export procedures and perishable goods shipments. - Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export requirements. - Prepare and manage banking documentation related to exports, including: Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections. - Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth handling of shipments. - Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of all required documents. - Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, finance) to support export operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in export documentation, preferably in perishable goods or fresh produce. - Strong knowledge of international trade procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements. - Solid understanding of international banking regulations related to exports. - Experience handling Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and coordination skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
