The Export Executive is responsible for developing and managing the company’s export &

strategies, facilitating the smooth transportation of goods across borders. This role involves

coordinating with various internal / external agencies, handling critical documentation, and

implementing planning to expand export sales.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

o Research, develop, and manage export business plans and strategies to

enhance the company’s global presence.

o Formulate and execute planning, ensuring alignment with company goals and

market opportunities.

2. Documentation Management:

o Coordinate and manage essential export documentation, including Bills of

Lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, invoices, and commercial agreements.

o Maintain accurate records of all files and data.

3. Customer Feedback and Quality Control:

o Evaluate customer feedback related to product and take corrective action to

improve customer satisfaction.

o Collaborate with internal teams to address any issues or challenges in the export

process.

4. Market Analysis and Sales Growth:

o Monitor global market trends and emerging opportunities to develop strategies

that increase export sales.

o Analyse competitive landscapes and adapt export strategies to maintain a

competitive edge.

5. Team Support and Development:

o Provide guidance, support to other staff within the organization on export

processes and best practices.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall export efficiency and

performance. Lead generation & follow up with existing customers.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

 Education: Bachelor's degree (International Business, Logistics, Commerce).

 Experience: Proven experience in export/import operations.

 Knowledge: Export regulations, customs procedures, documentation, L/C handling.

 Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, organization, problem-solving, attention

to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

 Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and relevant ERP/logistics software.

Core Function

The role bridges sales, logistics, and finance, ensuring that once a deal is made, the physical

goods are exported legally, efficiently, and profitably, meeting both company and customer

expectations.

 Documentation: Prepare and manage all export documents (Commercial Invoice,

Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.)

 Logistics Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs, for smooth

movement of goods.

 Client Management: Communicate with overseas buyers, finalize orders, and maintain

relationships.

 Market Analysis: Research international markets to identify new opportunities.
